Jamal Hossain carried on his consistent form in the Bangabandhu Cup Golf Bangladesh Open to climb to third spot, while Siddikur Rahman slipped to sixth after the third round at Kurmitola Golf Club Saturday.
Siddikur, who was second after round two, couldn't carry the momentum as he carded one-over-par 72 to move jointly at sixth along with four others, including compatriot Badal Hossain who notched two-under-par 69.
Jamal played two-under-par 69 to share third position along with two other players from Thailand and India.
His scores in the opening two rounds were three-under-par 68 and two-under-par 69.
His total score is seven-under-par 206.
No other participants from hosts Bangladesh are among the top 50.
Kosuke Hamamoto took the lead after he was tied with Siddikur for second position the previous day.
The Thai golfer made six magnificent birdies and two bogies to score a total 11-under-par.
