Country's ace golfer Siddikur Rahman put up a brilliant display in the second round to move to second position in the Bangabandhu Cup Golf Bangladesh Open at Kurmitola Golf Club Friday.
Siddikur showed confidence and carded a five-under-par 66 in round two to climb to second spot jointly with Kosuke Hamamoto of Thailand.
His total score is minus seven after the end of second day.
The 38-year old played six birdies on the second day to take his total score to minus seven.
Itthipat Buranatanyarat from Thailand remained at the top position carding minus three.

His total score is minus nine.
A total of 66 players out of 120 have made the cut, including four out of eight Bangladeshis, and thus qualified for round three.
Jamal Hossain kept his place at fifth jointly with two other participants from Thailand.
Badal Hossain moved down to eighth spot along with five others.
