Bangladesh girls received a 7-0 drubbing in their opening match of the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers against South Korea, but the girls are confident of doing well in their second game against Chinese Taipei at Hisor Central Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan Friday.
The six group champions and two best runners-up teams will qualify for the next round of qualifiers and to keep their hopes alive, Bangladesh must win their remaining matches.
Bangladesh U-19 women’s team head coach Golam Rabbani Choton was aware of the fact.
“[Friday] is our most important match against Chinese Taipei and we will go there for full three points. I believe the girls will give their 100% effort to win the game,” Choton was quoted as saying by a BFF press release Thursday.

Chinese Taipei were once regarded as the powerhouse of age-level women’s football in the continent as they won the trophy several times but Bangladesh will take inspiration as they beat the outfit in Dhaka 4-2 in the 2016 AFC U-16 Championship Qualifiers.
Bangladesh vice-captain Maria Manda said they are ready to give their best Friday.
”We are ready to give our best to win the match against Chinese Taipei,” said Maria.
