Dhallywood star Bidya Sinha Mim marked her birthday on November 12 with a celebration that was as heartfelt as it was humble.
Though she had other plans, the actress chose to spend the day at home with her family—a decision that made the occasion all the more special.
“It was a day of cutting cakes and talking,” Mim shared with a smile. “I’ve lost count of how many cakes I’ve cut since Monday night. And I’m not done yet!”
While she doesn’t usually make a fuss about birthdays, Mim was deeply moved by the outpouring of love from fans, friends, and colleagues.
“So many people are expressing their love on social media, phone calls, Facebook statuses… even writing about my struggles. It’s really nice,” she said.
For Mim, birthdays are also a moment of introspection.
“I don’t look back too much. I always think about how to surpass myself,” she reflected. When asked what life means to her, she replied simply, “Every moment of life is a joy. Being alive is a joy. I seek joy in life.”
