Former popular Bangladeshi actor and dancer Anjana Rahman has been hospitalized due to serious illness.
The matter was confirmed on Monday by her son, Nishat Rahman Moni.
She is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Dhaka.
Anjana is undergoing treatment in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
Seeking prayers from everyone, Nishat Rahman Moni said that his mother's condition is critical and very alarming.
The actor developed a fever 15 days ago, and her health deteriorated significantly, prompting her hospitalization.
Anjana transitioned from being a renowned dancer to making her mark in the film industry.
Her exceptional talent in dancing earned her the title of one of the finest actors in the country.
Over her career, she has acted in more than 300 films.
