Since its release, the series has remained at the top of the audience's favourites, with the character of OC Harun continuing to resonate with viewers.
The series depicts a story that unfolds over a single night in Dhaka’s bustling city. It stars Mosharraf Karim and was directed by Bangladeshi filmmaker Ashfaque Nipun.
From August 30, the first season of the series will be available for everyone to watch entirely for free on hoichoi. No subscription or registration will be required. Regarding this, director Ashfaque Nipun said, “When I was creating Mohanagar, I never imagined it would be so well-received by the audience. The web series gained immense popularity in both Bengals. However, after its release, I faced some challenges that I’ve never discussed in the media. That’s a topic for another time. But the good news is that anyone, from anywhere, can stream Mohanagar on hoichoi for free.”
Actor Mosharraf Karim added, “The response and love I received from people after the release of Mohanagar were unbelievable. From social media to real life, I received praise for the work. Even now, viewers want to see OC Harun. For now, starting August 30, the first season of Mohanagar can be watched for free on hoichoi.”
