“Odrisshyo” written and created by Shafayet Mansoor Rana, starring Mahfuz Ahmed and Aupee Karim unveils its first look with the trailer.
The trailer shows Mahfuz Ahmed’s character Anis, a businessman and aspiring politician, as he awakens in a desolate, abandoned room, held by unknown captors. The tension escalates, the stakes rise, and Anis's journey becomes an irresistible mystery that will keep viewers guessing until the very end.
The series will be released on October 5. Mahfuz Ahmed expressed, “Audience will discover me in a new avatar than ever before. A mind-bending journey into a world where nothing is as it seems, and where the battle for survival is fought not only against external forces but also the demons within. I believe, ‘Odrisshyo’ is that series which will leave you questioning the very nature of reality.”
The mind behind “Odrisshyo” Shafayet Mansoor Rana said of the series, “I am extremely overwhelmed by the response garnered by the Trailer. This is my very first web series and it was an exciting journey to pair up with Hoichoi for my OTT debut.”
Playing the wife of Anis, actor Aupee Karim added, “Firstly, I’m excited to return to Hoichoi again after ‘Dhaka Metro’. This series has several talented actors who I am very fond of. It’s definitely an honour. The Trailer is just a glimpse of what’s about to come. I hope ultimately the viewers enjoy the series when it starts streaming!”
