“Anyadin…” (Day After…) by Kamar Ahmad Simon has been nominated to compete at the International Feature Competition of Festival des 3 Continents in France. Ten feature films including “Anyadin…” have been invited to be screened at the International Feature competition this year.

Since 1979, Festival des 3 Continents has been conducted in France every year to feature critically acclaimed films from Africa, Latin America and Asia. The festival selects fiction and non-fiction feature films from these continents to tell the tale of a world outside of western hegemony.

Feature films from Indonesia, Brazil, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Japan, Iran, Qatar and India will also participate in the festival beside Kamar's “Anyadin…” from Bangladesh.

At the same time, RIDM (Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal), another non-fiction festival, also invited "Anyadin..." for its international competition segment.  Along with “Anyadin…” from Bangladesh, eleven films from different countries have been invited to the festival.

Earlier this year, Kamar Ahmad Simon's “Anyadin…”, which is the second part of his Water Triology, won the Harrell Award in Camden.
