Popular actor Shamsunnahar Smrity, better known as Pori Moni is expecting her first child with husband Sariful Razz.
The actor posted a photo of herself in a wheelchair pushed by "Ice Cream" star Razz with a caption that read, “Congratulations Pori. Thank you #Raaz.”
All rumours were confirmed when Pori Moni informed several media outlets about her pregnancy and her plans to take a one-year break from acting.
The actor confirmed tying the knot with Razz in a private ceremony last October. The duo fell in love during the filming of "Gunin."
“We got married on Oct 17, 2021, in a family arrangement. We didn’t reveal the matter. We're planning to make it public through a ceremony after wrapping up our film shoots."
Film director Giasuddin Selim said, “Pori Moni and Razz told me about their marriage a couple of days ago. I wish the best for them.”
Pori Moni drew national attention when she accused businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmood of sexual assault on June 8, 2021.
