Popular actor Jaya Ahsan has been keeping busy feeding stray dogs for the last few days. Her brother, Adeet Maswood, posted pictures of the actor wearing masks and gloves on the streets on Tuesday, March 31.
"This virus outbreak has taken a lot of us by surprise," the post read. "We have learnt that amid fear, there is also community, support and hope. For these stray dogs the only hope is little act of kindness in uncertain times! My sister Jaya Ahsan has been feeding 25 to 30 dogs for the past 5 days. Chicken and rice with water to drink is all they need to survive. So proud of Jaya apu! I’m sure many will follow and come forward to offer their help."
Earlier, the actor posted several pictures of her garden during social distancing. She also shared pictures with her pet dog, captioning: "As we self-isolate ourselves, I am keeping myself upbeat by nurturing plants, spending time with my pets and focussing on the positivity around."
Jaya starrer Robibaar recently won Critics Choice Film Awards in India. The film will be available for streaming from April 14 on Hoichoi.
