Renowned drama group Teerondaz Theatre Troupe is set to stage the 11th and 12th shows of their fourth production, “Tamsik”. The shows will be staged at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s Studio Theatre Hall on April 2 at 6pm and 7:15pm.
The synopsis of the play reads: “In the age of modern development, the human race still tends to reach out for darkness. Though it has caused bloodshed of millions, humans are on an endless journey towards enlightenment. ‘Tamsik’ is the story of that journey.”
The play, written by Apu Mehedi and directed by Kazi Rakib, will feature Toma Rani, Tasnova Shishir, Nusrat Tithi, Sanjeeda Promi, Tomal Khan, Enam Ripon and Hasan Mahdi in major roles.
Shohag Talukder is the stage designer and Rahim Sumon is the light designer, while Druto Ghosh will be the music director of the production.
Moreover, Farhad Shamim is the play's choreographer, and Tasnova Shishir is its costume designer.
