Popular anchor and model Ambrina Sarjeen Ambrin recently tied the knot on November 4, 2017. Ambrin, who has been missing from the showbiz for long time, has finally announced her wedding and revealed the real reason for her disappearance from the limelight.
The anchor rose to her fame for hosting the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) championship, which she could not anchor this year.
She finally broke her silence and informed about her new life. She wrote to her followers that she was really overwhelmed to learn of her fans’ are concern, who kept messaging her on Facebook and asked her about not being a part of BPL this year.
She said: "I am so glad to learn about this. I’m In Canada now and couldn’t come back to my beloved Bangladesh on time, because I got married on November 4 and started off a new journey of my life where I had to choose love over work. And I am glad did that! Need your blessings and love."
Her husband, Tawsif Ahsan Chowdhury, also lives in Canada, who is originally from Chittagong, and works at a company in Toronto.
Ambrin and Tawsif got married in a small private programme in Canada.
Ambrin has posted a few pictures of her with her husband.
Ambrin kicked off her career in the media industry by participating in the Lux Channel I Superstar in 2007, where she positioned herself in the top ten’s list.
She later received lots of offer in the showbiz industry to perform in the television advertisements for the Bashundhara Group, she showed off her terrific modelling skills. Since then, she has never looked back. She also became a popular anchor and host on live shows.
