Chinese telecom giant Huawei has launched the latest device in its flagship Y Series – the Huawei Y9 2018 – in Bangladesh.
Pre-booking for the device started on Tuesday. Highly popular among the young people, the phone is priced at Tk19,590.
The Y9 2018 has four cameras with Huawei full-view display, better battery capacity and three card slots.
With this phone, Huawei aims to reach students, youngsters and young professionals who have a simple yet sophisticated taste and search for a phone at reasonable prices.
Ziauddin Chowdhury, deputy country director of Huawei consumer business group (Bangladesh), said: “Keeping the budget perspective of Bangladeshi customers in mind, Huawei always strives to introduce high-end smartphones in the market at affordable prices.”
The handset will be available at Huawei brand shops and listed mobile outlets across the country from April 8.
