State-owned mobile operator Teletalk is going to bring 5G experience for the visitors with technical support from Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited at the Smartphone & Tab Expo 2022.
The expo is being held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital's Agargaon from January 6-8.
In the 5G experience zone, the visitors can experience and know about 5G use cases for individuals, homes and industries, reads a press release.
Talking about this experience zone, the CEO of the organizer Maker Communication Muhammad Khan said: “We are very optimistic about this expo. Visitors can buy smartphones and Tabs here. The 5G experience zone set in this fair has added a new value since Bangladesh has recently entered into the 5G era.”
“People are going to get the chance for the first time to experience what 5G can do. We appreciate the effort of Teletalk for taking this initiative and thank Huawei for providing technological support,” he added.
Head of Public Affairs and Communications of Huawei Bangladesh Yuying Karl said: “Huawei Bangladesh is extremely proud to be a part of this historic moment when Bangladesh is going to enter the 5G era.”
“We believe that 5G will change the society with diversified applications for individuals, homes and industries. And Huawei will be always there to facilitate Bangladesh with its innovative technology, because we are in Bangladesh, for Bangladesh,” Karl added.

The 1st 5G trial in Bangladesh was conducted by this company along with other partners back in 2018.
