The JCI Dhaka Sparks, the latest extension of the Junior Chambers International (JCI) Bangladesh, held its first General Members Meeting (GMM) and JCI Explore training session on April 1, 2022, at Hotel Bengal Blueberry in Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by 2022 Local President of JCI Dhaka Sparks Shahmina Isha Mannan; Local Executive Vice President Noor E Alam Bhuiyan and Local Secretary-General Syed Saheeb Ahmed along with other board members. Tukhbita Afroz Nawmi was sworn in as Director, reads a press release.
The JCI Explore training, one of the foundational courses of JCI was conducted by JCI trainer Erfan Haque, 2022 National Executive Assistant to National President.
As a special guest, Masud A Khan, chairman of Better Bangladesh Foundation addressed the meeting. Guests also include members from the national governing board of JCI Bangladesh, 2022 National Executive Vice President Mahamud-un-Nabi Prince, mentor and 2022 National Vice President Seyed Mosayeb Alam, patron and 2022 National Vice President Eazaz Mohammed, 2022 National Skills and Talent Development Manager Mehedi Hossain and 2022 Intl Affairs Commissioner Tasnuva Ahmed.
The first GMM covered a broad range of agendas including the induction of new members, sharing of the 2022 action plan and inception budget, and upcoming local, national and international events, among others. Through the meeting, members and the board were able to set targets and strategies for the year 2022.
