JCI Dhaka Sparks, a part of the global Junior Chamber International (JCI) shared its plan of action for the year 2023 at the first General Members Meeting (GMM) that was preceded by its 2023 Annual Day Out and Chain Handover Ceremony at Chuti resort, Purbachol.
The meeting was presided over by the Local President of JCI Dhaka Sparks Noor-e-Alam Bhuiyan supported by Immediate Past Local President Shahmina Isha Mannan and led by Event Director, Sigma Haider who also serves the organization as Executive Vice President, reads a press release.
As Chief Guest, Adnan Imtiaz Halim, CEO of the Sheba XYZ platform addressed the audience.
As the guest of honour, mentor of JCI Dhaka Sparks and 2023 National Vice President of JCI Bangladesh Md Azazul Hossain Khan joined the discussion to map out an annual plan of action targeting 4 areas of opportunity under the JCI framework.
For 2023, JCI Dhaka Sparks will be working on Gender Parity with a focus on safe space for women; sustainable finance to support a low carbon, resource-efficient financing schemes; supporting youth entrepreneurship and startups through equity sharing models while also working on leadership development and other community impact projects. The meeting ended with a live musical performance by Dhaka Metro.
