JCI Dhaka Sparks, part of the global Junior Chamber International (JCI), shared its achievements of 2024 at the 3rd General Members Meeting (GMM), which was preceded by its 2024 Annual DAYOUT-2024 and Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) at Aristocrat Resotrt, Purbachol.
The meeting was presided over by the 2024 Local President of JCI Dhaka Sparks, Sumaya Mahmud Sharna, supported by Immediate Past Local president Noor-E-Alam Bhuiyan, and led by Event Director Nazmul Haque Mishu, who also serves the organization as vice president and Event COC Shaiful Akash, 2024 local director.
As chief guest, Imran Kadir, national president – JCI Bangladesh and as Special guest First Lady Shamina Rupa addressed the audience.
As guest of honour, mentor of JCI Dhaka Sparks and 2024 National Vice President of JCI Bangladesh Md Fazle Munim joined the discussion to map out and calculating annual achievements points and the areas of opportunity under the JCI Framework.
Also at the Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA), New Treasurer Jakir Hossain Manik and New Executive Vice President (EVP) Shaiful Akash has taken the Owth for 2024 rest of the months.
In the year 2024, JCI Dhaka Sparks completed several projects, such as Kushum Kotha, which focused on safe spaces and healthy lives for women; Water Project Drop of Hops, which set up five tube wells and motor pumps for the flood-affected people of the Cumilla area; and a free health checkup program.
Also JCI Dhaka Sparks members have joined several national and international programs in ASPAC to contribute global plan of actions of JCI and also JCI Bangladesh.
The Dayout-2024 program ended with a Raffle Draw program with exciting gifts handed over to the participants.
