Bengal Commercial Bank has opened its seventh branch at Eliotganj, Daudkandi of Comilla.
Md Jashim Uddin, chairman of the bank and president of FBCCI, inaugurated the branch on Thursday, reads a press release.
Mahbubul Alam, vice chairman of the bank; Md Shahabuddin, chairman of the executive committee, along with other directors and sponsor shareholders of the bank, also participated in the program.
Tarik Morshed, managing director and CEO of the bank, presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Other top officials, clients, businessmen, and local elites were also present on the occasion.
A new ATM booth service was also launched at the same building on the day after the inauguration of the branch.
So far, the bank has opened seven branches and one sub-branch as of today.
