Bengal Commercial Bank’s clients can now send remittances to any branch of the bank through Ria Money Transfer.
Bengal Commercial Bank and Trust Bank have recently signed a sub-correspondent agreement regarding the issue, reads a press release.
An official ceremony was arranged to mark the “RIA Money Transfer Sub-Correspondent Agreement” and the inauguration of the remittance service on Thursday at Bengal Commercial Bank's head office.
Managing Director and CEO of Bengal Commercial Bank Tarik Morshed and Managing Director and CEO of Trust Bank Humaira Azam were present at the ceremony.
Advisor to Bengal Commercial Bank Shahid Hossain, DMD & CBO KM Awlad Hossain, DMD & CTO of the Bengal Bank Md Rafiqul Islam, DMD & CBO of Trust Bank Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury; Country Manager - Bangladesh of Ria Money Transfer AKM Nazmul Hossain were also present at the ceremony along with other top officials from all the three organizations.
