PM urges expats to brighten Bangladesh's image

World Bank lowers Bangladesh's economic growth projection for FY24 to 5.6%

The World Bank on Tuesday said Bangladesh’s economy may grow at a slower pace in the current FY24 than it did in the previous fiscal year as it faced economic headwinds such as high inflation, external payment pressure, financial sector vulnerabilities and uncertainty.

Saudi issues 5,000 visas a day from Dhaka as relations grow

The Saudi embassy has sped up the visa processing functionary in Bangladesh and now issuing about 5,000 visas a day from Dhaka. Big companies of the Kingdom are also set to invest in different sectors of Bangladesh with the growing bilateral relations.

Inflation slightly drops in September after months

Inflation in Bangladesh slightly improved in September, registering at 9.63%, down from 9.92% in August.
