Bangladesh has already balanced India and the US over various issues including the visa restrictions and therefore there is nothing to worry anymore, Awami League General Secretary also Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said.

He was speaking at a rally of the Dhaka District Awami League in Amin Bazar of Savar on Tuesday.

The senior politician said that the leaders of the BNP are now lost after the selfies of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Delhi and in New York.

“Where is sanction, where is visa policy! A compromise has been reached secretly, a compromise has been reached. Delhi is there and we are also here. No enmity with anyone, friendship with all,” Quader said addressing the rally.

He said that the premier has balanced everyone already and the polls will be held as per schedule.

Quader said that the game will start in October and will gain momentum in the next month. The final game will be played in January.

He questioned the BNP’s threat of not joining polls without their leader Khaleda Zia saying that the party has failed miserably to wage a movement to free her.

Coming down hard on the opposition party the seasoned politician said that there is no history of any attack on the BNP although there has been multiple attacks on the ruling Awami League. This is because the AL does not believe in the politics of murder, Quader added.

There is none apart from Sheikh Hasina upon whom the people can rely, he said adding that the BNP has already lost and it will lose when it comes to the polls.

He further said that the AL does not care about any visa restriction and the days of such threats are now gone.
