FM: Bangladesh to continue extend necessary support for Palestine

Underscoring the profound need for a lasting and permanent solution to the Palestine issue, Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday committed to continue to extend necessary diplomatic and legal support and further humanitarian assistance "to our brothers and sisters of Palestine".

BNP: Opposition will not leave streets until democracy is restored

BNP senior leader Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan on Saturday unequivocally said that the opposition parties who have been on a movement will not leave the streets until democracy is restored.

Dhaka’s air 2nd worst in the world this morning

Dhaka has ranked second on the list of cities worldwide with the worst air quality with an AQI index of 231 at 8:50am on Sunday.

Iran-backed militants strike US-led coalition base in Iraq

Iran-backed militants launched ballistic missiles at a base hosting US forces in western Iraq, causing one Iraqi and possible American casualties, the US Central Command said Saturday.
