BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu said some people are extorting, looting, and occupying under the guise of BNP and Chhatra Dal to defame BNP.
He said these at a protest meeting in front of the National Press Club on Sunday.
The BNP leader said: “Wherever such incidents can be seen. The accused should be caught immediately and handed over to the police.”
Shamsuzzaman Dudu said: "India has given refuge to a fascist. You (India) should send her back to the country. By protecting her, you can not do anything in favour of democracy. Bangladesh will not be at peace until Sheikh Hasina is brought under justice."
He added: "After a long time, an opportunity has arisen in Bangladesh to establish democracy, independence, people's rights, and the protection of basic human rights. We must utilize this opportunity. We must preserve the situation created by the mass uprising and move forward."
