The biggest-ever grand rally of Chhatra League, the student wing of ruling Awami League, has started at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital in memory of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Raman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatun Nesa Mujib.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached the venue around 3.30pm on Friday.She will deliver speech as the chief guest.

Former Chhatra League leader and Awami League sub-Committee member Md Moniruzzaman Monir told BSS that some 500,000-700,000 students joined the rally that began at 3pm.
"The rally turned into a human sea as there is no space left for a single foot at the venue," he said.
"All participants are chanting the slogan, "Once Again Sheikh Hasina", he stated.
The Suhrawardy Udyan is filled to the brim with Chhatra League leaders, workers and supporters from all over the country.
The rally has extended to Dhaka University premises and adjacent areas. Various units of Chhatra League outside of Dhaka were seen wearing colorful t-shirts and caps to make their presence with own identities.
Placards, banners with the names of the districts were also seen in their hands.
