A meeting of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust has been held at Bangabandhu Bhaban in Dhaka's Dhanmondi.
The meeting was held on Friday evening.
Chairperson of the trust and elder daughter of the Father of the Nation Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting, reports BSS.
Prime minister's Assistant Press Secretary ABM Sarwar-e-Alam Sarkar said: “The meeting discussed the activities of Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College and the proposed organograms of the trust and Bangabandhu Memorial Museum.”
The meeting reviewed the social welfare activities of the trust, the progress of the decisions taken earlier and decided to carry forward its different projects faster, he added.
Trust members -- Law Minister Advocate Anisul Haque, Sheikh Kabir Hossain, Maj Gen (retd) Abdul Hafiz Mallik, Sheikh Helal Uddin and Noor-e-Alam Liton Chowdhury, Member Secretary Sheikh Hafizur Rahman and Bangabandhu Memorial Museum Curator Md Nazrul Islam Khan were present at the meeting, among others.
