NCC Mayor Ivy gets deputy minister status

Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy has been awarded the status of a deputy minister. The Cabinet Division issued a notification on Tuesday in this regard, said a PID handout. As per the notification, Ivy will enjoy the status, salary, allowances and other facilities equivalent to that of a deputy minister while in office.
