The Lakshmipur district branch of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) on Friday organized a voluntary blood donation and blood grouping program to mark the anniversary of the July uprising.
BNP Joint Secretary General and former MP Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee attended the event as the chief guest, according to a post on the BNP media cell's official Facebook page.
BNP Assistant Secretary for Health Affairs Dr Parvez Reza Kakon and Lakshmipur District BNP Joint Convener Advocate M Hasibur Rahman were present as special guests.
Among others present were Lakshmipur District DAB Convener Dr Nazmul Huq, Member Secretary Dr Abdul Karim Mithu, Birdem DAB President Dr Amirul Islam Pavel, Private Medical and Dental College Chhatra Dal Assistant General Secretary Dr Mehedi Hasan Shuvo, Assistant Secretary Dr Rasel Hossen, Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Dr Khalid Sifat, Chhatra Dal leader Dr Mir Sohan, and Dr M Mahbub.
