Police have recovered the body of an unidentified youth from Sylhet railway station on Saturday.
Railway authorities spotted the body near the public toilet of the station and informed the police around 4pm.
Later, a police team arrived at the scene and recovered the body, said Sylhet railway police station Sub-Inspector Md Mehedi Hasan Khan.
The cause of death and the identity of the deceased is yet to be known, said the SI.
No injury marks were found on the deceased’s body.
The body was sent to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, he added.
