3 KNA members killed in operation in Bandarban

The operation was carried out based on a tip-off, leading to the discovery of the KNA hideout

The Bangladesh Army conducted an operation on Sunday in the dense forests of Ruma Upazila, Bandarban, targeting a secret hideout of the Kuki-Chin National Army (KNA).

The operation resulted in a gunfight, during which three KNA members were killed.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out based on a tip-off, leading to the discovery of the KNA hideout.

Upon reaching the location, the army encountered armed resistance, resulting in the casualties. During the raid, weapons and other military equipment were seized.

The ISPR also confirmed that the operation is still ongoing.
