Nazneen Sultana, additional director (deputy secretary) at the Bangladesh Bridge Authority, has been appointed the new deputy commissioner (DC) and district magistrate of Bandarban.
The appointment was announced in a notification issued by the Field Administration-2 branch of the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.
Signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahmud Ullah Maruf, the notification said the BCS (Administration) cadre official had been transferred and posted as DC and district magistrate of Bandarban.
The order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
In a separate order, the ministry recalled Bandarban’s incumbent DC, Md Saniul Ferdous, and attached him to the Ministry of Public Administration.
