The Chittagong University (CU) administration has issued a directive prohibiting gatherings, protests, human chains, or rallies on campus and surrounding areas without prior permission.
The information was shared in a notice signed by the university’s Proctor Prof Tanvir Mohammad Haidar Arif on Monday.
The urgent notice, issued by order of the vice-chancellor, said that no gatherings, human chains, rallies, or any kind of programs may be organized in the campus or adjacent areas without approval from the university authorities.
If this directive is violated, legal action will be taken by the university administration.
