Three members of a family were killed in a landslide in Pekua upazila of Cox's Bazar.
The incident took place in the Shilkhali union around 3am on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Momtaz Begum, 32, wife of Md Sarwar Alam, and their daughters Moyna, 13, and Toha, 8.
Pekua Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Saiful Islam Joy said there was heavy rain on Saturday night.
Due to this, a hill landslide occurred in the Jarul Bunia Segunbagicha area.
On information, police and upazila administration rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
