Three passengers of an autorickshaw including a minor were killed as a train hit three-wheeler at an unmanned level crossing in Dapakandi on the Bhuapur-Tarakandi rail route in Bhuapur upazila of Tangail on Wednesday.
The identities of the victims could not be known immediately.
Dhaka TribuneFive other passengers were also injured in the accident, said Faridul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bhuapur police station.
The injured people were first taken to the upazila health complex from where they were transferred to Tangail General Hospital for advanced treatment.
