Police are trying to arrest the persons involved in the gang-rape of a ninth-grader at Kachua Upazila in Bagerhat on Thursday night.
Father of the girl filed a case naming four persons – Ezazul Molla, Sohel Sheikh, Tipu Sheikh and Sajib Molla – of the same area.
Md Asaduzzaman, additional superintendent of police in Bagerhat, confirmed the matter.

The rapists fled the area following the incident. Police were trying to arrest the culprits, he added.
The four men entered the house of the girl and raped her on Thursday night, when both of her parents were away.
The girl was later admitted to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital.
