Authorities have handed over the body of another victim of the deadly fire at the Hashem Foods factory in Rupganj, Narayanganj, which killed more than 50 people back in July.
Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Inspector Md Ataur Rahman handed over the body of Ismail Hossain Mohiuddin, 18, to his father on Wednesday.
The CID identified Ismail, one of the workers at the factory, through DNA profiling.
On July 8, at least 52 workers were killed in the fire that broke out in the six-storey factory of Hashem Foods and Beverages Limited, a subsidiary of Sajeeb Group.
Of the victims, at least 48 workers burned to death. The CID identified 45 of them after DNA tests over the next few weeks.
Ismail was one of the seven victims of the tragic fire whose body remained unidentified at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
Earlier this month, investigators also recovered the remains of at least two people from the gutted factory.
