A college student, suffering from fever, cough and cold, died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
RMCH Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Azizul Haque Azad confirmed the matter.
The 19-year old youth, hailing from Natore's Laldanga upazila was admitted to the ward on Friday as he was showing symptoms of Covid-19. Later, the patient died on Saturday morning, said Mohammad Azizul Haque.
He also added that samples from the deceased had been collected to test for coronavirus.
