Sazzatul did not attend viva-voce and hence will not be able to get enrolled

Update : 29 Nov 2019, 05:59 PM

An absent applicant has been ranked twelfth in the ‘B Unit’ admission test of 2019-20 academic session of Comilla University (CoU).

The student was identified as Md Sazzatul Islam, reports UNB.

The test was held on November 8 and Sazzatul’s exam centre was at Comilla's Teachers Training College.

During the exam, students were provided with an attendance sheet to sign in. When the reporter checked the attendance sheet, Sazzatul was shown absent.

However, on November 12, after the result was published, Sazzatul, with roll number 206050, was found holding the twelfth position.

The 'B Unit' admission test committee convener Professor Dr Masuda Kamal declined to comment on the matter over phone and asked the reporter to meet her at the office.

A member secretary of the committee Dr Md Shamimul Islam said Sazzatul did not attend viva-voce and hence will not be able to get enrolled.

Sazzatul Islam could not be reached for comments for the article.
