Two separate cases were filed against two teachers, accused of raping and sexually harassing over 20 schoolgirls over the span of four years in Shiddhirganj upazila of Narayanganj.
Family members of some of the victims filed a case on Friday against Ariful Islam Sarkar alias Ashraful, 30, under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
A separate case was filed by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) under the Digital Security Act, accusing Arif and the headmaster of Oxford School—located in the upazila’s ward No 2—Zulfiqar alias Rafiqul Islam, 55.
Both of the cases were filed with Shiddhirganj police station.
RAB also recovered obscene photos of Ariful with the schoolgirls after searching his phone, laptop and camera.

Speaking to Dhaka Tribune, RAB 11 Assistant Director Md Alep Uddin said: "After primary interrogation, the accused accepted the allegations against them. They will be produced before a court seeking a ten-day-remand on Saturday [today]."
Based on a tip-off, a RAB 11 team arrested the accused on Thursday.
“Acting on that information, we conducted a raid at the school and arrested the teachers. The contents found on his phone were extremely disturbing.”
Alep added that RAB had found evidence of Ariful raping more than 20 students on his electronic devices.
Hundreds of locals had also gathered and demonstrated in front of the school on Thursday condemning Ariful’s appalling crimes. They also demanded exemplary punishment of the accused and the closure of the school.
