A worker, Mahmud Ullah, 40, has died while working in Cox’s Bazar; and another worker was injured in the same incident.
A wall collapsed on Tuesday, at 11 am, while the workers were repairing it – at the Cox Bazar city’s Lawyer’s Association Office in Adalatpara.
The late Mahmudullah was the son of the late Zakir Hossain of Cox Bazar’s sadar upazilla’s PM Khali union’s Muchoniya Para.
The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cox's Bazar model police station Farid Uddin verified the story and said: “A worker named Mahmud Ullah was buried under a wall when the wall collapsed on his as workers were working on repairing it. He was rushed to the hospital but the physician in-charge declared him dead. The dead body is at the hospital's morgue. Necessary legal steps are being taken regarding this matter.”
