A total of 150 tons of coal have so far been removed from the vessel that capsized in the Pashur river in the Sundarbans on April 14.
Meanwhile, the salvage operation is being hampered due to strong currents and stormy weather, Sohrab Hossain, chief of divers of the salvage team, told reporters on Sunday.
"During high tides, it’s difficult for us to continue the salvage operation."
A dredger and a launch along with 31 men, including 11 divers, are working to remove coal from the sunken ship.

Earlier, on Saturday, an official of “Hossain Salvage Enterprise” said it might take 15 more days to pull off the vessel.
On April 14, MV-Bilash carrying 775 tons of coal capsized in the river in the Sundarbans when it ran aground in a hidden shoal as it followed a wrong route.
At least eight commercial ships, including MV-Bilash, sank in the river in the last five years.
