Ferry services on Patuaria-Daulatdia resume almost after 7 hours

Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route have resumed almost after seven hours of disruption caused by thick fog. Mohiuddin Rasel, assistant manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Patuaria ghat, said the authorities suspended the ferry services on the route from 3:30am to 10:15am on Monday due to poor visibility caused by dense fog. Due to the disruption of the ferry services, hundreds of vehicle remained stuck on both sides of the ghats.
