State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak has launched a digital tracker that provides local and global data and information on coronavirus.
The launch took place on Tuesday, reports BSS.
The tracker, named Covid-19 Tracker, was made by ICT Division, and it will be available on the covid19tracker.gov.bd website, an official release said.
Anyone can use the tracker to access the latest and most reliable information and data on the ongoing coronavirus crisis, without logging in or signing up.
People can use the tracker to see information in graphical or tabular structure, and also use that data through application programming interface (API).
The information will be available in both English and Bangla.
The tracker gets updated every 5 to 10 minutes, with inputs from local and international sources, such as worldometers.info and Johns Hopkins University.
Coronavirus has so far infected 2,948 people and killed 101 people in Bangladesh.
Globally, the virus has infected 2,483,111 people and killed 170,498 people.
