Update : 27 Mar 2025, 08:16 PM

The term of the five reform commissions formed by the interim government has been extended once again.

The term of the Health Sector Reform Commission, Media Reform Commission, Local Government Reform Commission, Labour Reform Commission, and Women’s Affairs Reform Commission has now been extended until April 30.

This was stated in a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Thursday.

The notification was signed by Cabinet Secretary Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid.

Previously, on November 18, the government formed these five reform commissions and gave them three months to submit their reports.

The initial deadline for submission was February 17. However, as the reports were not submitted within the stipulated time, the government extended the term by one month on February 18, setting the new deadline as March 31.

The term has now been extended for the second time.
