Law Adviser Prof Asif Nazrul has rated his performance a modest 4 out of 10 in his evaluation of his first 100 days in office.
"If I were to grade my work, I would give it a 4 out of 10," he said during a media briefing titled “100-Day Apology of the Ministry of Law” at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
Asif Nazrul explained that he initially held responsibilities for three ministries but is now managing two.
"This limited my ability to dedicate 100% of my time to the Ministry of Law. However, I can assure you, I worked at least 12 hours a day," he said.
Acknowledging his limitations, he added: "I have made no intentional mistakes. There may be gaps in my qualifications and experience, but I have spared no effort."
Expressing dissatisfaction with his overall performance, he remarked: "I am a religious person. At night, when I am alone, I pray to Allah to help me fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to me through the student uprising. I ask for guidance to make my work impactful."
