Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has revealed that Delhi and Dhaka will jointly produce a film on the life of Bangladesh's founding father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
At a joint press briefing on Saturday in Delhi, he recalled Bangabandhu as a “dear friend of India and a towering leader.”
“We also agreed to jointly produce film on life of Bangabandhu by the year 2020,” he said.
Modi and visiting Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also released the Hindi translation of Bangabandhu’s unfinished memoirs.
The Indian prime minister said the two neighbours would jointly produce a documentary film on Bangladesh's Liberation War.
