The much-awaited AIUB Games 2024 kicked off with a lively inauguration ceremony on Tuesday at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) campus.
The event was inaugurated by Nadia Anwar, Chairman and Founder Member of the Board of Trustees, AIUB, who delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging participants to showcase their talent and embrace the spirit of sportsmanship.
Prof Dr Manzur H Khan, Proctor, Md Abu Mia Akanda Tuhin, Head of Public Relations, Md Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports were also present during the inauguration ceremony along with students, faculty members, and other AIUB officials.
This year, the AIUB Games features an impressive 11 competitive segments, with participation from around 2,500 students across various departments.
The event not only reflects the enthusiasm and vibrant culture of the university but also underscores AIUB’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive campus environment.
The Games are organized by the AIUB Office of Sports, with invaluable support from the Office of Student Affairs, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a celebration of unity, collaboration, and excellence.
This initiative reinforces AIUB’s dedication to holistic growth, promoting achievement in academics and extracurricular activities alike.
