Young innovators showcase ideas at I4N × Innoventure Competition

BYNC event promotes youth engagement in nuclear science, technology and innovation, with support from the Russian House in Dhaka

The I4N × Innoventure Competition, organized as part of the Bangladesh Youth Nuclear Congress (BYNC), was held Saturday at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in Dhaka, bringing together young students and innovators interested in nuclear science, technology and innovation.

The program featured an inaugural ceremony, a “Beyond Borders” session, technical and project presentations, poster presentations and a closing prize-giving ceremony.

Dr Syed Mohammod Hossain, former director of the Planning and Development Division and innovation officer of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, and Engr Md Ali Zulquarnain, former chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, attended the event.

Alexandra Khlevnoy, director of the Russian House in Dhaka, attended as a special guest.

The participation of the Russian House in Dhaka highlighted its support for youth development, scientific education and innovation, as well as efforts to strengthen Bangladesh-Russia cooperation in science and technology.

The competition provided participants with a platform to showcase innovative ideas, projects and research, while encouraging creativity, knowledge-sharing and greater engagement with nuclear science and emerging technologies.

The program concluded with a prize-giving ceremony recognizing the achievements of the participating young innovators.
