The International Crisis Group, a global non-profit, non-governmental organization headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, will hold a webinar on Tuesday titled “Bangladesh Three Months After Hasina’s Downfall: Opportunities and Challenges.”
The webinar, set to start at 3pm (4pm Bangkok time and 10am Brussels time), will feature Tom Kean, Crisis Group senior consultant on Bangladesh and Myanmar; Dr Amena Mohsin, professor of international relations at Dhaka University; and Zafar Sobhan, editor of Dhaka Tribune.
The event description says the panellists will provide insight into the interim government’s ambitious reform plans and prospects for success, with an emphasis on how international partners can support political and economic reforms.
The discussion will also touch upon the government’s efforts to stabilize the economy, manage Bangladesh’s international relations and address conflicts in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and Rakhine State.
