The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has been recognised as one of the top five winners of the University Innovation Exhibition Award at the Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026.
Organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the fair was held from September 12-14 at Novo Theatre in Dhaka under the theme “Innovate to Market.”
The event brought together universities, researchers, innovators, industry representatives, investors, policymakers, government officials, educators and students to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and the development of research and technological ideas into practical, market-oriented solutions.
The AIUB stall showcased various innovative projects and technological solutions and attracted visitors from government, industry, academia and research organisations.
Posts and Telecommunications, Information Technology and Science and Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam, MP, and Science and Technology Secretary Md Anwar Hossain visited the AIUB stall and observed the projects and solutions showcased by the university.
More than 70 public and private universities from across Bangladesh participated in the fair, while five universities were selected for the University Innovation Exhibition Award.
AIUB credited its students, faculty members, researchers and participating teams for the achievement, and acknowledged the support of its relevant offices and management in promoting research, innovation and academic excellence.
