The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized the Freshers’ Orientation for the Spring 2026 semester on Thursday.
Arranged by the Student Affairs Office, the program welcomed newly admitted students and marked the formal commencement of their academic journey at ULAB.
The orientation was graced by Nasim Firdaus, founder and president of the Bangladesh Alliance for Women Leadership and the Home Economics Association, Bangladesh, as the guest speaker.
In her address, she inspired freshers to embrace leadership, responsibility, and personal growth.
Professor Jude William R Genilo, PhD, acting vice chancellor of ULAB, also addressed the gathering.
Among the distinguished attendees were Lt Col Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd), registrar of ULAB, along with deans of various faculties and heads of departments.
ULAB has started the academic programs of the Department of Environmental Science and Sustainability this semester under the School of Environmental and Life Sciences. The event concluded with a delightful cultural program featuring ULAB students.
